What is the Shop Local T-Shirt and Hoodie Project?

It's been an interesting year for all of us. What started last March as a temporary shutdown, thought to only last a few months, has now turned into “hopefully we’ll be back to normal this year”. Every one of us has been affected by the pandemic one way or another. Last summer, we launched the “Community Tee Project” at Worldwide Sport Supply and could not have been more amazed at what transpired over the next 6 months. During the second half of 2020, we helped raise over $49000 in donations that went directly back to those in need. We’re talking about over 250 businesses this community was able to help get through tough times.

Many of us are still working from home, the bars and restaurants that survived are limited, and most businesses currently open are in survival mode. We ask you again to help our community if you are able. These establishments have been there for us, let's take an opportunity to be here for them, for your friends and neighbors that work for them.

In 2021 we already see this COVID-19 situation might not necessarily be slowing down, but we can be hopeful there is a light at the end of the tunnel. For us at Worldwide we know one of the best ways to help is by doing what we do best, selling tees! Specifically, fundraiser merchandise featuring your local favorites. We will again launch this store to sell tees and hoodies to support businesses and organizations in need. Like the last two Community Tee Projects, you'll be able to wear this apparel out on the streets and show how you worked together to help your neighbors survive these trying times.

This new SHOPLOCAL apparel store has two things to offer for each business. We have a comfortable unisex t-shirt and one of the most comfy and soft hoodies available. These are unique, especially for those places you’d normally never have an opportunity to buy a branded shirt from! This time we’re offering a color version t-shirt and a black hoodie for each business. Shirt’s will be printed in a white, soft, watercolor ink of the business’ logo you are supporting, the SHOPLOCAL logo on the left sleeve, and a small Worldwide Sport Supply logo on the back. Adult & Youth sizes available!

We have made the artwork and shirt options simple to maximize the money generated. Here is the transparent math: each shirt costs $19 --- $10 will go directly to the business or non-profit, $9 will cover materials, labor, and handling at Worldwide Sport Supply.
